Media relations

The President of the Republic of Serbia and other officials communicate with the public through press releases, press statements, interviews and also at news conferences and social media. National and accredited foreign media correspondents in Belgrade are informed in a timely manner, at least a day in advance, by fax and e-mail about the activities of the President of the Republic of Serbia which may be covered by the media. 

 

Office for Media of the President of the Republic is responsible for communication with the media and for public relations. Communication with the media is carried out electronically, in writing or orally. Three fixed telephone lines are available to media representatives during working hours. At the same time, all national editorial staffs and accredited foreign media correspondents are given mobile telephone numbers of those employed in the President’s office for Media relations, who may be contacted also outside working hours. In cases when due to organizational, protocol or other reasons it is not possible to ensure presence of the media, the President’s office for Media relations provides them with video, audio and photographic material on specific official and formal occasions attended by the President.

 

Filming the exterior and interior of the building of the President of the Republic for media and other purposes is arranged in cooperation with the President’s office for Media relations and his Security Service, upon a request made in writing.

Journalists and accompanying sound and cameramen and photographic crews having an interest in covering the announced activities of the President and other officials are accredited with the President’s Office for Media relations for each event, by e-mail mediji@predsednik.rs
