Meeting with the Serbian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the Serbian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, to discuss Serbia's aid to the Republic of Srpska in materials and equipment for combating the coronavirus.
"Serbia aids the Republic of Srpska with medicines, protective equipment and vital clinical devices. We will also provide support in food and all other materials to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole,” said President Vučić.
Serbian member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, Milorad Dodik, said today following the talks with President Vučić that Serbia is ready to assist Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina with essential food items, as well as medicines and medical supplies, aimed at combating coronavirus. He emphasized that Serbia and President Vučić understands the problems that exist in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Serbia is ready to provide aid to both the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will deliver certain quantities of wheat, corn, soybeans, necessary for the nutrition of the population. Serbia will also the 'Bimal' factory in Brčko with a quantity of necessary raw materials to ensure stable oil production in the next few months," said Milorad Dodik, adding that he had also discussed with President Vučić the options for the provision of certain drugs and necessary materials to combat the virus.
"Serbia, of course, has its challenges and problems. However, I believe - and it is promised - that options will be observed and that in the next few days we will be informed about the quantities and options regarding medicines and medical supplies," said Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He added that he is grateful to President Vučić who - despite the problems that are visible in Serbia and everywhere in the world - has the awareness and appreciation for the Republic of Srpska and the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
