President Vučić attends the beginning of the new COVID hospital construction

 

 

"I can proudly say that this magnificent facility, which we build on 18,000 m2, is the result of our hard work and effort of the state. These are great and important things for Serbia, which show that nothing is left to chance. I am especially proud that everything is done by Serbian companies with the help of the Serbian Army and its engineering team. We are building a modern hospital here, which will be our most important and largest COVID hospital. Investments are significant, but we have to do it, to significantly increase our capacities, for people to know that the state cares, to know that the state invests ", said President Vučić and added that the hospital would have 200 intensive care units and 804 semi-intensive care units all equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. He stated that around 28 million euros were invested in the construction alone.

 

 

 

"We are doing this in order to decrease the pressure on our heroes - doctors and nurses, so that they have better conditions, so that the burden gets evenly distributed. These are great things that show how much the standard of living is changing and how much we care about people's health. This hospital will save many lives", pointed out President Vučić and added that the location on Batajnica road is easily accessible from all directions, but that some access roads will have to be improved.
