President Vučić meets the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić said earlier today at the meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Moon Hee-sang in Belgrade that Serbia seeks to improve the cooperation with that country in various political and especially economic areas.
President Vučić also said that Serbia wants to attract more Korean investors.
"We have investments from Korea, but we believe there is still a large potential for more Korean investors to come to our country", said President Vučić at the meeting.
He also added that he is sure there is more capacity for better cooperation between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
"We can learn much from you, from the experience of your beautiful and very successful country. I am honoured and privileged by your visit", said President Vučić.
Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Moon said at the beginning of the meeting it was his honour to visit Serbia and thanked President Vučić for the reception. He also congratulated Serbia for the successful organisation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union assembly in Belgrade.
"This is a special year for the relations of our two countries as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. President of Korea Moon Jae-in wanted to visit this wonderful country, but I came as his replacement. President Moon and I bear the same family name - Moon so that you know that I am an excellent replacement", he said.
