President Vučić visits mobile vaccination points
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić visited today the mobile vaccination points in the municipalities of Obrenovac and Ub and appealed to the citizens to get vaccinated against the coronavirus to save lives and health and to return to normal life and continue working.
"If we all get vaccinated, we will be able to work and live a normal life, to move Serbia forward incomparably faster. We have to get out of the corona, to get back to living our lives. Then we will be able to do and finish what we could not before," said President Vučić after visiting the mobile vaccination point in the village of Zvečka near Obrenovac. He emphasised that mobile vaccination points should help people get vaccinated easier and faster.
"People often wonder why all this is important for us, why we exaggerate and insist on vaccination. We insist on it because of the health of each of our citizens, because of our lives. I ask that the vaccination queues be even longer, not only here, but in the whole of Serbia. I received two doses of the Chinese vaccine and today I know that I will survive if I fall ill. That allows me to feel freer, to be able to make plans," said President Vučić.
President Vučić also visited the mobile vaccination point at the stadium of the local football club 'Vrelo' near Ub and said that today, vaccination becomes a matter of survival and development of the country. He talked to the local community citizens and called on them to get vaccinated to protect themselves, to preserve their own and the health of their nearest ones.
"Our job is to fight and be responsible, it is a fight to continue economic growth. If the economy goes forward and if we defeat the coronavirus, if GDP growth is seven per cent, I guarantee you that salaries and pensions will increase, which brings people the opportunity to live better. Without that, we have no chance. That is why irresponsible people make me perplexed," said President Vučić.
