President Vučić visits the finishing works on the construction of the "Belgrade" Gallery
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the Chairman of the Eagle Hills company Mohamed Alabbar, visited today the finishing works on the construction of the Belgrade Gallery facility, within the Belgrade Waterfront project.
"Belgrade is becoming not only a European and world metropolis, but it will be able to generate even higher revenues for Serbia and attract even more tourists," said President Vučić. He pointed out that he was proud that the Belgrade Waterfront project, which initially had the support of 29 per cent of our citizens, is now supported by more than 70 per cent of people.
"This is by far our largest construction site, 2,850 people work here, it looks impressive, and I am really proud. This is one of the largest shopping malls in this part of Europe. This is a new standard of living and a new life," said President Vučić.
The Chairman of the Eagle Hills company Mohamed Alabbar congratulated everyone who worked on the Belgrade Waterfront project and on the great work that had been done.
"If it were not for the economic policy and environment suitable for the investment - which was made possible by President Vučić - it would have been difficult for us to succeed in doing this. It is rare to see leaders who work so hard. Serbia is a country worth coming to. You are a rising country, and I am honoured to have the opportunity to work here," said the Eagle Hills Chairman.
