President Vučić visits the works on the Belgrade Tower
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, together with the Director of the "Eagle Hills" company Mohamed Alabbar, visited the works on the Belgrade Tower within the Belgrade Waterfront complex. The Tower will be the tallest building in Serbia with 40 floors and a belvedere, and it is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
"I am proud of this construction site! I am proud of everything we have done here. One hundred fifty thousand square metres have been completed, and another 750,000 square metres are currently under construction. What is of utmost importance for us is the fact that we have 2,530 workers on this construction site. This is what makes Belgrade Waterfront one of the largest European construction sites. This place is becoming one of the most impressive, most urban locations in our country. This building will be a symbol of Serbia! It is a pledge for the future showing that we have the audacity to change things and to do the best for our citizens ", stated President Vučić and pointed out that Belgrade Waterfront is the pride of the whole of Serbia and not just Belgrade. He added that the best life is being created there, with stunning boulevards and parks for children.
"With the construction of Belgrade Waterfront, along with other renovation works and arrangements of the capital, the image is changing of the city visited by 20 to 25 per cent more people year on year. When the circle closes, it must be said that someone was courageous and that Serbia managed to do all that," said President Vučić.
