President Vučić visits the works on the construction of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje 2"
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić visited today the works on the construction of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje 2" in Belgrade and announced that the works on this project, worth 40 million euros, will be completed by the end of June 2021.
"This facility looks magnificent, and it will be one of the largest cardiovascular hospitals in Europe. This is important for raising our overall capacity for the entire country. In less than a year, everything will be completed. This is a fantastic contribution to the progress of Serbian health system," President Vučić said after touring the works. He thanked the Belgrade company W.D. Concord West that executes the works on the hospital and commended it for fulfilling its obligations ahead of schedule.
"Our goal is to be the pillar of the region and to open a state-of-the-art hospital for blood vessels and heart on St. Vitus Day next year. We will invest 15 million euros in equipment alone. This will be the largest cardiovascular hospital in this part of the country, with a parking lot and a heliport, if the Flight Control allows it. We see now, in modern conditions, how vital health care has become, and that is why it is important to create such a cardiovascular giant," concluded President Vučić.
