President Vučić visits the works on the construction of the new COVID Hospital in Kruševac
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić visited tonight the works on the construction of a new COVID hospital in Kruševac, with a capacity of 500 beds, which should be opened in mid-December.
"Here in Kruševac, in the centre of Rasina district, we are building another COVID hospital. We hope it would be completed by December 15, where we will be able to receive 500 patients," the President said, adding that the hospital will have 150 intensive care beds and 350 for semi-intensive.
During the conversation with night-shift workers, President Vučić said that they are trying very hard to complete that hospital as soon as possible so that it can admit the first patients.
"Thank you for your love for the country and your desire to help," the President told them, adding that this hospital will treat not only people suffering from coronavirus from Kruševac, but also from Trstenik and other cities in that part of Serbia.
President Vučić thanked all health workers in Kruševac and Rasina district who are fighting and not running away from responsibility and who, as he said, are not looking for a reason not to be present, but are tackling problems, saving people's lives.
"I am grateful to the doctors in Kruševac who fought bravely. That is the most important thing for us, and I came tonight to show how much we care about the health of our people and what the state is doing. We furnish everything with the most modern equipment so that there are the best treatment conditions. We are fighting to overcome this serious disease together. Those who are fighting are always there, and those who will not - they always take some refuge," concluded President Vučić.
