President Vučić visits the works on the reconstruction of the Prokuplje Health Centre

 

 

President Vučić said that the Health Centre is essential for all four municipalities of the Toplica district and that this building will also accommodate the Community Health Centre and the General Hospital, which he expects to be even better than some Belgrade health institutions.

 

"I am delighted and proud; this is an important day for the people in the whole Toplica! We are building something magnificent and remarkably valuable. This is important for our children, for our parents, for all of us. These are the things that change people's lives, and that will remain behind us. The people who live here have always defended the homeland, they have never complained. This is how we repay the debt to our Toplica. These are not merely small repairs, make-up... We are investing more than 35 million euros, only the construction of the facility will cost about 27 million euros. It has never been invested so much in Toplica. Toplica deserved this!" said President Vučić.

 

 

 

President Vučić emphasised that the new health centre will be equipped with the most modern devices, and the rooms will be made according to the highest standards.

 

"Young people, doctors, will be fortunate to work in the new health centre, but we must also take care of the people who are 45-50 years old. The time has come for us to have to make everything new - hospitals, health centres, clinical centres because no investment has been made for decades. It is our obligation for the people in Toplica to get the hospital and health centre they deserve," the President added.

 

The President said that the state had invested in health care even before the COVID-19 pandemic because it is essential for the citizens and is part of the living standard.

 

"As I am proud of every highway, bridge, I am also proud of all hospitals," said President Vučić and pointed out that works will soon begin on the health care institutions in Pirot, Kikinda, Leskovac, Vranje, Aranđelovac, Loznica, Vrbas, Smederevska Palanka, Gornji Milanovac.
