Congratulation to the British Prime Minister

I am convinced that the electoral victory will inspire you to even more decisively confront the obstacles standing before Great Britain with your rich political experience and with inexhaustible energy and clear vision and to lead the British society in a stable way of progress.

 

Serbia seeks, dear friend, to establish strategically important relations with Great Britain. We have a common goal of raising Serbian-British relations to the level of true partnership, where they have never been before, and where they should be.

 

Therefore, I hope and believe that I will once again have the opportunity to host you in Belgrade, as the first British Prime Minister to visit our country after forty years. With your visit, you would confirm that the desire for more substantial and richer Serbian-British ties is mutual. You will always have a reliable partner in Serbia concerning the development of political dialogue and strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as strong support for peaceful and stable Balkans," reads the congratulation of President Vučić.
