Congratulation to the President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić conveyed a letter of congratulation to the President of SASA, Academician Vladimir Kostić, on the occasion of the Day of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The congratulation reads:
„Not many institutions in this region can claim such a long tradition as SASA. The 178-year tradition serves to honour but also to oblige. More often than once did SASA demonstrated that it can be a measure of value, but also a barrier to inopportune impacts on our country and the values of our society.
I would like to avail myself of this opportunity to support your initiative for SASA to take a more prominent role in the dialogue and social processes in our society. In this way, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts will ensure the preservation of its great authority in Serbia, and with its experience contribute to its further progress, "states the congratulation of President Vučić.
