Congratulations from the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia

"On the occasion of February 15, a great holiday in Serbian history and the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, I have the immense pleasure and honour to convey to you and our Serbian people the most sincere congratulations and to say that Serbia has always had the most sincere and greatest of friends in the Republic of Srpska, because we are one people and because unbreakable bonds connect us.

 

Our true connection is embodied in sincere, close ties with the fraternal people of Serbia, with whom we share and foster the legacy of the same, common past, origin, cultural and spiritual heritage, from which often sprang our brotherly love, mutual support and respect that we provided to each other even in the most challenging times.

 

A strong and prosperous Republic of Serbia is a key and essential bearer of stability and peace in the Balkans and the region and the greatest support for the Republic of Srpska's empowerment and prosperity.

 

Therefore, I avail myself of this opportunity to thank you for the good relations, the brotherly love that we receive from Serbia, the political understanding, and numerous joint economic and financial projects. I remain firmly convinced that our mutual support and cooperation will continue in the time ahead, for the benefit and the satisfaction of our citizens.

 

With hope for a better and joint future, expressing gratitude to the Republic of Serbia, the Government and you, I once again extend my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the Statehood Day and please accept the expressions of my deep consideration", reads the congratulations of Milorad Dodik.
