Letter of congratulations to the President of Romania

“On the occasion of your reelection for the President of Romania, I extend to you my cordial felicitations and the best wishes for success in your work. I am convinced that the trust of the citizens of your country gives you a strong will to lead them on the path of success and further progress.

 

I want to underline our gratitude to friendly Romania for the principled position of respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for the strong support to our European path.

 

Serbia is a true friend and reliable partner of Romania and I am convinced that our good political relations will be accompanied by even better economic ties and cooperation in all areas of common interest, to the benefit of the citizens of our two countries.

 

I hope that cooperation of our two countries will continue through the Quadrilateral Format, i.e. the High-Level Cooperation Council between Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, because I find this form of cooperation very important for the development of good neighborly relations and promotion of politics of peace and stability in the region, as well as for the social and economic development of Serbia.

 

With hope that you will visit Serbia during your new Presidential term, please accept Your Excellency my cordial regards and the assurances of my highest consideration”, reads the congratulation of President Vučić.
