The President emphasised that the issue of the "green agenda" implementation is one of the most important in the complex field of energy and pointed out that Serbia is seriously committed to introducing the highest standards in using the potentials of renewable energy sources and consequently - preserving the environment.
On the other hand, President Vučić pointed out that Serbia cannot deprive itself and give up the natural resources that enable the energy independence of the state. The President particularly insisted that he would continue talks with the representatives of the Government of Serbia and the expert public to find a sustainable solution so that Serbia would not become a major importer of electricity from 2030.
