Meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China

President Vučić's congratulatory message states, among other things, that thanks to the CP of China, with its policy of opening and reform and incomparable development successes, the People's Republic of China has grown into economic power and leader in innovation and modern technologies, and into the voice of peace and stability on the global level.

 

President Vučić said he was proud of the fact that the relations between Serbia and China are at the highest historical level and he was convinced that the cooperation would be continued in the spirit of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

President Vučić and Ambassador Chen discussed current and possible joint Serbian-Chinese infrastructure projects, including the project to build a vaccine factory. President Vučić was particularly interested in the project of the Preljina-Požega highway and the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway, considering that both the highway and the railway should be commissioned at the beginning of next year.
