He thanked for Russia's strong and active support in defending Serbia's integrity and independence and its state and national interests.
The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Slutsky, said that Moscow is proud of our two countries' closest relations, which is confirmed by frequent high-level contacts. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of economic cooperation between Serbia and Russia, emphasising his pleasure that joint infrastructure projects, such as the Stara Pazova-Novi Sad railway, and energy-related projects such as the gas pipeline from the Bulgarian to Hungarian borders, contribute to our country's economic progress.
