Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

President Vučić expressed his gratitude to Holland for the support it renders to Serbia in the process of Euro-integrations and added that the bilateral relations of the two countries are good, primarily in the economic cooperation domain, but that it is necessary to improve the political dialogue as well. „We seek intensification of contacts at the highest level, because bilateral visits and continuity of meetings contribute to the improvement of the overall relations between the two countries as well as to a better mutual understanding", said President Vučić and conveyed an invitation to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima to visit Serbia. 

 

During the meeting, President Vučić emphasised that stabilisation of circumstances in the region remains to be of utmost interest for Serbia. „We firmly believe that the dialogue represents the only avenue to pursue aimed at the solution of all open issues", stressed President Vučić and indicated the necessity to obtain a true compromise that would guarantee a long-lasting stability in Kosovo and Metohija. 

 

Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok said that it is very important to achieve improvement in the area of the rule of law, with which President Vučić agreed.
