Personal message to the Ruler of Abu Dhabi

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your election to this most important of all positions, and I am confident that with your wisdom and experience, you will continue to lead your people on the path of peace, prosperity, and progress. 

 

Even in the midst of great sorrow and strife, life teaches us that we must continue on the honourable path of our glorious forefathers and ancestors. Numerous obligations and tribulations await us on that path, making the ascent ever more difficult, but also making every victory and success that much greater and brighter. 

 

Knowing your resolve, calmness in making responsible decisions, and wisdom gained from experience in difficult times, I am confident that you will lead your people to an even brighter and more promising future. 

 

I'd like to avail myself of this opportunity to assure you once more that Serbia will continue to be a reliable partner and, above all, a friend who does not back down even when many others do.
