President Vučić meets in Geneva with the President and the Member of the Managing Board of the World Economic Forum
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met this morning in Geneva with the President and the Member of the Managing Board of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende and the Member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum, Head of regional strategies -Europe and Eurasia Martina Larkin.
President Vučić expressed his hope that a Regional Center for the 4th Industrial Revolution would be opened in Serbia in cooperation with the World Economic Forum in 2020, which would be of great importance for Serbia.
President Vučić thanked for any assistance that the World Economic Forum can provide to Serbia in promoting, opening up and positioning the Serbian economy in the world, given that global socio-economic development is a topmost priority of the World Economic Forum.
Serbia seeks to be active in all international forums, especially those aimed at developing trade, reducing unemployment, educating young people, as well as other socio-economic aspects.
"Serbia is making efforts to improve the business environment in the country and I hope it is reflected in the reports of the World Economic Forum. Belgrade is ready to organise an annual meeting under the auspices of the Forum", said President Vučić.
