President Vučić meets the delegation of the Finnish company Nokia
The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the delegation of the Finnish company Nokia, headed by Mikko Lavanti, the Vice President of the company for Central East Europe and Central Asia.
President Vučić emphasised that Serbia plans to continue the cooperation with the company Nokia, especially in the area of landline network and transport optical systems. He added that it is extremely important for Serbia to be able to use the experience of this Finnish company in the development of entrepreneurship in the field of information technologies.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted that the decades-long cooperation of Telekom Srbija with Nokia, which covers various technological segments of the mobile and landline networks, was very good so far, and expressed the expectation that it would be significantly improved in the future.
The Finnish company Nokia, one of the world's largest telecommunications equipment manufacturers, employs around 100,000 people worldwide including the major centres in Finland, France, Germany and the United States.
