President Vučić meets the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China

President Vučić wished a welcome to the guests and asked General Zhang to convey his most sincere greetings to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. He said that Serbia is grateful to President Xi for all he did for the friendship between the two countries and that he hopes that President Xi will honour us again with his visit. "We are proud of the steel friendship of our two peoples and we extend our support to the 'One-China' policy as well as in many other issues", said President Vučić.

 

General Zhang thanked President Vučić for a warm welcome and pointed out that the People's Republic of China acknowledges that Serbia devotes large consideration to the overall strategic partnership between the two countries. He added that he will convey the greetings to President Xi and said that the two presidents - on several occasions on which they met - expanded the relations between the two countries, and expressed his hope that some of the measures will be more specifically defined during this visit.

 

The interlocutors confirmed that they will attend the military drill "Begej 2019" to be held in Titel on Sunday.
