Telephone conversation with the President of Bulgaria

President Vučić and President Radev expressed mutual solidarity and support in the fight against coronavirus and exchanged experiences on measures implemented to prevent the spread of the infection. The two statesmen expressed confidence that Serbia and Bulgaria will successfully cope with the COVID-19 challenges, and then continue their diverse cooperation in the spirit of good neighbourly relations - economic in particular - to help each other to remedy the economic consequences of the pandemic.

 

President Radev said Serbia has Bulgaria's support on the European path and that he hopes the European Union will help our country, as a candidate country, not only with funds for urgent needs in the fight against COVID-19 but also for the subsequent economic recovery.
