Telephone talk with the President of the Russian Federation
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić talked earlier today with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and conveyed his congratulations for the Russian President' 67th birthday.
President Vučić and President Putin agreed to meet before the end of the year in Moscow to exchange opinions on the most important issues, and especially about Kosovo and Metohija. President Putin told President Vučić that he follows the activities of our President and that he understands well that Serbia stands in a complex situation adding that he is ready to render his help.
President Vučić thanked for the consideration President Putin dedicates to the development of the Serbian-Russian relations wherefore he enjoys sincere admiration and deep trust in Serbia. He also expressed his gratitude for the words of support to the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia conveyed to him by Minister Sergey Lavrov at the recent meeting in New York.
In congratulating the birthday to President Putin, President Vučić wished him good health and personal happiness as well as the strength to successfully represent the interests of Russia and the fraternal Russian people in the future.
